## The same counter, on your own site and your own audience

This page shows the assistant handling the part of a mailing list people actually resent: changing what they receive, immediately, in one message, without a preference centre and six checkboxes. On a real shop's site that change lands in your audience tool.

1. Point the assistant at your site so your list descriptions, sending frequency and club terms become the answers it gives, as published content rather than a re-typed copy.
2. Expose your audience as a small MCP server: a read that only ever answers for the signed-in person, and a write that changes one preference at a time.
3. Give the preferences tool an action card so a change is one tap, not a preference centre with nine checkboxes.
4. Wire the identity hand-off so a signed-in subscriber is recognised and their own preferences answer without them typing an address.
5. Tell the assistant plainly not to argue with an unsubscribe — take it, confirm when it takes effect, and stop.
